There are three pieces I want to talk about for this B
side. The first one being Lady bug for Jasmine.
Jasmine was my neighbor for the majority of my
childhood. We played basketball together, played
football together, did everything that kids do together.
This last August Jasmine was shot and killed in a
drive by shooting. I wanted to dedicate this song to her.
To say her loss hurt would be an understatement,
not a day goes by when I don't think about her
legacy. Jasmine Lewis, I pray I will find your love
tomorrow.

The next song I want to talk about is Butterflies; this
was the second piece of music I wrote from my time in
Amsterdam. I recall riding my bike home and feeling
Butterflies by being with this person the night before.
I couldn't sleep, I couldn't close my feelings. This
song brings me back to the first time I was truly in love.

The next song I want to talk about is the title track for
the Album is "In my Fairytale"; that noise you hear in
the first 10 seconds of the song is me riding my bike
the last day in Amsterdam. I wanted this song to
capture the feeling I had leaving there. I remember
recording this with Shafiq and losing myself in this
piece. Thinking about places, people, lovers, now a
distant memory, this song will forever haunt me
because it begs the question, what if? What if I
stayed? These songs, these albums don't happen,
but I see a Fairytale where this reality can exist one
day.

To the Listener, thank you for listening to my music,
this is my heart in essence. Nothing but love,
hard work and tears were put into these 14 songs, and I
pray that they will have a lasting impact on you as they do
on me.
